Jan. 5, 2009 - 2009 Tryout Schedule
- Full details on the 2009 tryout schedule will be provided soon, but
the following is initial information about the schedule for junior,
U11-U14, and U15-U18 age groups:
Junior (U10 and below) tryouts will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28 and
Sunday, March 1
U11-U14 tryouts will start on Saturday, Feb. 28
U15-U18 tryouts will start on Monday, April 20
Additional information on tryout times and locations will be posted as
soon as they are available.

Tragedy
Hits Close to Home - On Saturday, November 15th, Santa
Clara Youth Soccer and Santa Clara Sporting Club lost Jonathan Manzo
Chavez, a very special young player to a tragic traffic accident while
traveling home with his family from a soccer tournament in Manteca .
Jonathan was a member of Sporting's Boys Under 10 Team.

- BYU-Hawaii claims PacWest title, berth in NCAA's

LAIE, HI
- Sarah Welty scored what would prove to be the goal that landed the
BYU-Hawaii women's soccer team in the
2008 Pacific West Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA
Division II Playoffs on Friday afternoon as the Seasiders blanked Notre
Dame de Namur 2-0 in Laie, HI. The victory lifted the Seasiders to a
10-2 mark in the PacWest as they finished with 20 points on the season.
BYU-Hawaii has amassed a 14-4 overall record. The first-place finish
secures a berth in the NCAA Division II post-season for the Seasiders as
BYU-Hawaii claimed the league's inaugural automatic qualifier. The
Division II Tournament will be announced after this weekend`s games
around the country.

17, 2008 -
Nathan Williams' completes Half Marathon
- Sunday the 5th of October, I competed in my Half Marathon in a time of 1
hour and 41 minutes.
I would like to thank everyone for their support of the past few weeks
in particular, Mike Fitzgerald at Extreme Soccer, Rob Smith at
All-Awards, The Swift Family, Pagador's, Thayer's, Harris Family, Schwendeman`s, The Reynolds family, Tarr Family and everyone else that
contributed, for their wonderful donations and support of my run.
I look forward to seeing each of you on the field. ~A still, very
tired Nathan
